Hello there, mischief-makers!
I’m happy to report that the long grind is finally starting to pay off. Over the past weeks, I’ve managed to rework all stats and content planned up until March, and it feels incredibly good to see things slowly fall into place. There’s still plenty to do, of course - but for the first time in a while, things are acutally becoming easier, as things ahead of time means it frees up more daily time.
February will also bring a well-deserved vacation for little ol’ me. Don’t worry, I won’t vanish into the far realms completely - I’ll just be taking things a bit slower. Instead of big systems, code, and hundreds of stats, I’ll be focusing on lighter tasks like creating the VTT tokens, quick references, and small quality-of-life improvements. The kind of work that can be done without perfect connection to the internet whenever I feel like it.

The extra breathing room has been especially valuable - not just because it lets me actually rest and recharge, but because it’s already opened the door to new ideas. I’ve even been lucky to connect with some incredibly talented people, which means there are two new projects quietly taking shape behind the scenes… or even behinder the scenes?
The first one I can already share: I’m now collaborating with someone who’s helping me fully convert my monsters for Foundry and Roll20. So for all you VTT lovers - if you enjoyed getting tokens before, I hope you’ll be excited to get the complete stat blocks, including variants and more, ready to drop straight into your games.
The second project will stay a bit more mysterious for now. While my collaborator is absolutely on fire - coding away as if we have a deadline already next week - it still needs plenty of tinkering and work. We’re aiming more toward the end of the year with this one. It’s a bigger endeavor, and if all goes well, it’ll be something the community will truly enjoy once it’s ready to see the light of day. So, stay tuned for more hints to be dropped in the upcoming newsletters!
As always, thank you for being here and following along on this journey. Now, let’s get to this month’s mischief. 🎲
Unlock the Full Potential of Their Spell Lists

Even the most prepared spellcasters can’t predict every twist your story throws at them. But what if they had a way to reach into the entire library of their class - just when they need it most?

We all know that some spells are very situational, making it hard to justify their space in the limited number of spells you can prepare. But with the bookmark spell, things change. It not just a useful spell - it’s a storytelling and empowering tool.
It’s the moment when the wizard finally whips out that one spell they “shouldn’t have thought of.” It’s the cleric pulling off a miraculous save no one expected. It’s the druid revealing a side of their magic that the whole table forgot existed.
By adding bookmark to your campaign, you give your players flexibility without removing the fun tension of daily spell prep. They’ll love the freedom - and you’ll set up your table to live through more memorable situations.
